Our Story
At Helg , we embrace the principles of 'Hygge' to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Helg takes inspiration from Linda's Norwegian origin and its vast offerings of independent coffee houses. Helg is Norwegian for Weekend. In Helg our vision is for every customer in every visit to feel the warmth, relaxing atmosphere and joy one might associate with the weekend. Our mission is to provide quality food in a space where people feel at home. Join us in celebrating the simple joys of life with our delectable offerings.
Doing our bit in looking after the Planet
We may be small but we are passionate about making a difference including to the planet. Our Team are all locals which we are pleased goes a little way in the reduction of commuter emissions. We offer a discount (25p) for reusable cups , and we also offer a range of reusable coffee cups on sale that are made of coffee waste. Our cleaning materials used in store to keep our coffee shop nice and shiny are eco friendly. Where possible we have used packaging that is recycable.
Quality hot drinks Selection
Savor our carefully sourced coffee blends, served hot or iced, to complement your cozy moments. All our coffees are freshly made never compromising on quality. We use 100% arabica beans which are roasted locally (in Weston.) Our decaf coffee is processed with water, naturally, never with the use of chemicals.
We proudly serve Blendsmiths' House hot chocolate, white hot choclate, chai and pink chai. All are available as vegan options (when using alternative milks) and all are gluten free.
Out Matcha is only ever ceremonial grade and is served hot or over ice.
Semi Simmed cows milk is used as standard. Milk alternatives ; Oat, Soya, Almond and Coconut.
Culinary Experience
Join us for artisan pizza, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5.30pm-9pm. Our handstretched, spourdough pizzas are crafted with seasonal ingredients and a touch of magic.
For Pizzas delivered straight to your door, please visit our delivery partners Uber Eat and Just Eat.
Join us for live music with Simon Smith on the 18th April 5.30pm onwards.
